Music — Shiluv Learning Club

Let’s get noisy for the Shul of Rock! This program is ideal for students in Grades 3-12 with some musical experience and skill who are interested in composing their own songs and playing modern Israeli pop and rock music. Students will be sorted into sessions based on their skill level and experience.

Mark your calendar! Music classes will meet weekly on Thursdays, January 11, 18 & 25, February 1, 8, 22 & 29, March 7 & 21, April 4, 11 & 18, and May 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30.

Session A will jam from 4:00pm to 4:30pm, Session B will jam from 4:30pm to 5:00pm, Session C will jam from 5:00pm to 5:30pm, and Session D will jam from 5:30pm to 6:00pm. When not rocking out, all participants are welcome to join Homework Club at no additional charge.

Class breakdowns and times subject to change based on enrolments.

About the Instructor

Amit Ganz is Israeli born and has recently moved to Calgary with his wife and 2 daughters. Amit has played in a popular Israeli rock band for many years called Rockdim Band. Amit is a multi-instrumentalist with proficiency in saxophone, piano, guitar, bass and percussion. Amit is also a certified music therapist in Israel and is looking forward to obtaining certification here. He is also open to new music students on the side so do not hesitate to contact him for private lessons.
