Beth Tzedec has made great strides in becoming an inclusive congregation for people with disabilities and to create an inclusive culture that fosters the fullest participation of every member of the synagogue family. In the past several years, with the generosity of major donors, we have built ramps to the bimah, made the washrooms accessible, offered large print siddurim and hearing amplification devices for services, and hosted such programs as the JCC’s Kesher Klub for adults with special abilities. We also partner with the Jewish Federations’ Inclusion Committee.
Our acceptance into the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Ruderman Inclusion Action Community program has enabled Beth Tzedec to further its ability by adding appropriate signage throughout the facility and creating worship services and programs that are sensitive to members with various disabilities.
If you or loved ones require accommodations to participate in any of our services or programs please let us know by contacting our CEO at 403-255-8688, Ext. 1 or ceo@bethtzedec.ca.
