Hamantaschen Dough

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • pinch Salt
  • powdered for dusting Sugar
  1. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat butter, cream cheese, egg yolk, and salt on high until combined.
  2. Add flour, half a cup at a time, until it comes together.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
