Programs
STEM – Mondays
Cultivate a sense of curiosity and wonder in the fields of technology, science, engineering, and mathematics with the University of Calgary’s Minds in Motion program.
Judaism 201 – Mondays
Adults are invited to join in as we dive into topics such as Jewish history, principles of the Ten Commandments, prayer, life cycle events, holidays, ethics, and the mystical tradition.
Dance – Tuesdays
Our expert instructors bring together the best elements of breakdance, hip hop, contemporary dance and Israeli styles, allowing your child to explore a diverse range of techniques.
Visual Arts – Alternating Wednesdays
Participants of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in a captivating journey as we create in various mediums and give your creative energy the space to flourish like never before.
Youth & Adult Yoga – Alternating Wednesdays
Join a yoga practice meant to align mind and body. We are extending our programming to include children and teens who can benefit greatly from yoga, as well as adults of all ages.
Music – Thursdays
Join the School of Jewish Rock! This program is ideal for students with some musical experience and skill who are interested in jamming and learning together.
Martial Arts – Thursdays
Discover the fundamentals of self-defense with our comprehensive Martial Arts course from 5 Elements Martial Arts.
Bimah Challenge – Thursdays
Gather your friends or join with your child who has celebrated their B’nai Mitzvah for our intergenerational Bimah Challenge!
Parent Hangout
Whether or not you’re joining us to learn, the parents and grandparents of children participating in our after-school programs are always welcome to spend that time scrolling on the wifi or socializing with other Beth Tzedec families.
What About Homework Club?
While not technically part of Shiluv, Homework Club is one of our most popular after-school programs.
