


Dhaal (Slow Cooker)
Ingredients
- 3 cups Dhaal
- 1 tblsp Salt
- 2 small green peppers, cored, seeded and diced
- 1 tblsp tumeric powder
- 1 tblsp fresh ginger, diced
- 3 medium onions diced
- 2 large tomatoes diced
- 1 tblsp Ghee
- 4 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 tblsp cumin
- 1 tsp hing
Instructions
- Clean Dhaal to remove any stones
- Wash in warm water
- Add 6 cups hot water
- Add salt along with diced green peppers
- Add turmeric powder, ginger, onions, tomatoes
- Melt ghee in a frying pan and add garlic, cumin, and hing. Brown the entire mixture
- Add to the slow cooker and cook for 5-8 hours at medium
