DESCRIPTION:Join us each month at Masala Art for lively conversation\, good company\, and great food as we explore Jewish literature together. The Beth Tzedec Book Club is open to all who love reading and discussing stories\, history\, and ideas through a Jewish lens. \nThis April\, we’ll be reading The Gates of Gaza: A Story of Betrayal\, Survival\, and Hope in Israel’s Borderlands by Amir Tibon. \nThis National Jewish Book Award Winner recounts one family’s terrifying experience during the October 7\, 2023 attacks\, when Tibon\, his wife\, and their young daughters were trapped in their home near Gaza while his parents raced across the country to rescue them.
