This tender coming-of-age drama follows Noam, a closeted gay Modern Orthodox Jewish teenager who discovers that he might not be alone. Among his recently deceased grandfather’s belongings, Noam finds an old love letter that appears to have been written to his grandfather by another man before the Holocaust. Struggling with his own identity and place in the world, Noam sets out to find this mysterious person and uncover the truth about his grandfather, hoping to find a sort of validation in his grandfather’s hidden history. Noam’s quest becomes a heartfelt journey toward self-acceptance.
