Jack Grinhaus has been working as an actor, director and teacher for over 20 years. He recently joined Vertigo Theatre as its new Artistic Director – a coup for Calgary’s art scene and our entire community.
As the theatre prepares for its 47th season, Jack Grinhaus will how discuss how he chose this career and outline his plans for Vertigo Theatre and its new direction, after nearly half a century as Calgary’s most successful live experience venue. Live performance is an important cultural anchor that ties us together. Particularly post-pandemic, people want and need to congregate again in a shared space. Vertigo Theatre, the premier professional theatre in North America focused on the genre of intrigue, boasts nearly 60,000 visitors a season and is a staple of Calgary’s cultural landscape.
