Hazak Lunch & Learn

Congregants and community members of all ages are welcome to join our monthly daytime learning sessions. We’re inviting some of Calgary’s great thinkers and writers to teach, inspire and connect with us as we socialize and share a delicious lunch.

This October, we’ll be joined by Elliott Steinberg, who has been the Executive Director of Jewish National Fund of Canada’s Calgary region since July 2019. In that time he has learned a great deal about JNF-KKL’s pivotal role in securing land in Palestine in the early 20^th century, in anticipation of forming the Jewish State.  Elliott will tell the amazing story of the facts on the ground that allowed Israel to physically come into being.
